jump to download Positive Sound Massive Recordings is proud to announce the release of "Cyber Supplement", our first Virtual EP. The idea behind this project stems from the need for PSM to "Free Up" every few years and just plain give some of our music away. That, coupled with the fairly new concept of digital delivery, made us think that the days of shipping out thousands of promo copies, costing tens of thousands of dollars, was a thing of the past. With this in mind we are proud to present this MP3 EP with 4 new tunes from our upcoming artist compilation, complete, downloadable cover art, and our blessings (something that many would say is crazy!) to duplicate and distribute this album to anyone who is looking for some fresh new music. The EP starts with a brand new song from the multi-talented Rocker-T. This new track, titled "You Don't Have to Worry" (Part 2), is a lover's rock tune with Rocker singing and DJing (combo style with himself). This is the only time that this version will be available to the public as Western Edition will contain a "Singer" version and the "DJ" version will most likely be released as a 7" next year. The second tune is a bass driven hip-hop riddim, voiced by Sister Sara. "Cease All War" is our first female fronted project and features Sara's conscious message and sweet delivery. Look for this, and another track from this blessed sister on Western Edition. The next track is truly a step away from our "Normal" releases... "Experiment 13" features JS-1, one of the most underrated DJ/Producers on earth today. Many know him from his "day job" as beatbox virtuoso Rahzel's DJ, but here he steps out on his own with a roller coaster ride of turntable trickery. No samplers here, just raw turntable action. The final track is from PSM label mainstay Jr. Robby. "Da Choppa" has always been known for pushing the PSM envelope, and "Wait in the Wake" does not disappoint. This brand new track from Jr.'s Fog Town Studio is just one of his two new tunes due to be featured on Western Edition. Before releasing this project we have played the tracks to many of our friends in the business, and almost every response was "This is the best PSM yet!!!" then "You're giving it away for free?". Yes folks for the cost of a blank CD-R, a sheet of paper, and a few cents worth of color ink you can have yourself a brand new EP. Heck burn a few and give them to your friends. They make great stocking stuffers. You don't even have to burn them... just send your friends the link and let them take care of the "manufacturing". Just another way of PSM wishing you the happiest of holidaze and a positive new year. Look for "Riddim Please," our first dub album due in stores and on the web in early February, and biL "Magic Thumper" out by Easter, 2001.
